Bedtime Wetting

Bedtime Wetting

This is common in children up to the age of 4, however if symptoms persist beyond this time, then it is time to seek some advice.

It can be distressing for the child who is delaying having a sleepover with friends and stressful for the parent who is having to manage all the extra laundry.

Bedwetting is more likely to occur if there is a family history of the parents doing the same (genetic factor), if your child has an underlying medical condition, or is a very deep sleeper

Following a detailed assessment, the Physiotherapist can guide you through the use of bed wetting alarms, which are proven to be successful in the majority of cases, together with any other strategies identified during the assessment.
